Naturopathy developed at the beginning of the 20th century as a health system. Based on the healing power of nature, Naturopathy emphasizes prevention and treatment of diseases through a healthy lifestyle treating the whole patient, the use of natural healing powers of the body in some principles, this school does not differ so much from the traditional healing medicines like Ayurveda and TCM. This type of natural medicine combined in therapy acupuncture, counseling (counseling), sports and herbal medicine, homeopathy, hydrotherapy, natural childbirth, healthy diet, physical therapy and relaxation techniques. The American Association of Naturopathic Physicians tend to advise against childhood vaccinations. Evidence for Naturopathy Many naturopathic diagnostic and treatment methods are unproven or even disproved. An example is the hydro-treatment (application of cold or hot water is compressed), which is used to treat many conditions; this therapy is specific to naturopathy.
