Sport-Related Concussion

Sports activities are often the cause of concussion, a form of weak traumatic brain injury. Symptoms include loss of consciousness, confusion, memory problems and other symptoms of brain dysfunction. The diagnosis is made clinically with imaging procedures as required, as there is rarely an indication of structural brain injury.
