Hip Fractures

Hip fractures can occur in the head, neck or the area between or among the Trochanterspitzen (protuberances) of the femur. These fractures often occur in the elderly, especially in osteoporotic patients (and result mostly from falls to the ground osteoporosis). Diagnosis is made by radiography and, if necessary, an MRI.
