(Lysergic acid diethylamide, LSD, psilocybin, mescaline) Hallucinogens are a heterogeneous group of substances that can cause very unpredictable, idiosyncratic reactions. Intoxication typically causes hallucinations, associated with an altered perception, impaired judgment, self-centeredness and depersonalization. There is no stereotypical withdrawal symptoms.
