Diagnosis And Treatment Of Patients With Thyroid Nodules
Thyroid nodules are common and occur frequently with increasing age. The incidence varies with the respective evaluation method. In patients middle-aged and older patients, shows a palpation at about 5% nodules. Results of sonography and autopsy studies suggest that about 50% of older adults nodules are present.
