Patients can stop uncontrolled hypertension by taking their daily medications as prescribed, They should also adopt a healthy diet and life style as directed by their doctor and nutritionist. They should avoid high levels of stress and when possible. Maintaining a healthy diet is critical, avoid sodium and saturated fats, tans-fats, sugars, significant amounts of red meat, and cholesterol. You should get the right amount of exercise, avoid drinking alcohol in excess, and keep hydrated. Dehydration leads to thicker blood,which will worsen blood pressure.
